After a great personality and a firm hand shake, attire is very important in an interview. Ther's a great article that I've included a link to below. It has general attire tips as well as those specific to men and women.

The color red is associated with energy, strength, passion, and determination. In my opinion it's a great choice for an interview as it also shows confidance.

I hope this is helpful and best of luck with the interviewing process!

Appropriate conservative business attire.

Red blouse, yes. Red belly shirt and a micro mini...no!

If your grandmother wouldn't approve then you should probably save it for the weekend.

Default When you are going for an interview

Well
Friend
When you are going for an interview you should wear a black pant, light violet color shurt and a still color tie will be better for first impression. And any talk with personality. At first time worm hand shake and intrudes won self smartly.

Thumbs up Wardrobe on Interview

I run a retained executive search firm, filling jobs in the $100K to $500K range, and have interviewed a lot of people. I also have a free job hunting advice web site, www.JobMagician.com.

For dress for a woman (I'm assuming that you're a woman, because men don't have red dress clothes):

1) Your clothes don't have to look expensive, but don't let them look cheap.

2) Having them fit well is more important than spending a fortune on them; I interviewed a guy whose clothes fit perfectly and he looked great. After he started the job, he told me he buys his suits at Men's Wearhouse.

3) Stick to classic, conservative colors. Red is too loud. Key is that your clothes do not distract from your face. If they're loud, they distract. Weak colors can drain color from your face, so the color answer depends on your hair color and complexion.

4) No mini skirts or low cut tops! That will really be distracting, and I've seen it done.

yes, attire is the most important aspect of an interviewee is seen when he/she enters the room. so the attire should be very formal with soothing colors. red and blue are considered as too falshy for the initial meeting. and the person is thought as a very hard bargainer. so th preferable colors should be like white, offwhite, pista green, or skyblue.

I am of the opinion that you can never do something wrong with wearing classic clothing. Regarding the color I always go for quiet colors. I would never wear something in red because I think this is a bit too jazzy. The colors I wear are black, white, gray and marine. I think a female suite is always the right thing to wear.
